SO Accounting Ltd was founded in 2019 when Stephen Johnston FCA, a Chartered Accountant with more than 40 years’ experience, took the opportunity to establish a family business with his son, Olly, who has followed in his father’s footsteps by pursuing a career in accountancy.
The pair launched their newly established practice in office premises located within a farmland business courtyard in the village of Trudoxhill, on the outskirts of the Somerset town of Frome.
Local small businesses quickly began to seek out their services, and it wasn’t long before their client list began to grow. Olly has since qualified as an ICAEW chartered accountant.
Today, the firm employs a team of six key staff members, with plans to expand significantly as word-of-mouth recommendations continue to spread across South West England.
